Skin science

Mineral filters, also referred to as physical or inorganic filters, are groups of minerals that diffract light and reflect UV rays like tiny mirrors. They are less allergenic, highly water resistant and begin working as soon as they are applied, compared with chemical filters which take 30 minutes. Based on these findings, Biologique Recherche has formulated 100% natural filters combining mineral and plant-based filters. Application instructions
  1. Apply generously to the entire face, neck and décolleté before any sun exposure
  2. If you do not apply enough product, your skin will be considerably less protected from solar radiation
  3. Reapply frequently (at least every two hours), especially if you sweat, after swimming, and after towel-drying

Overexposure to the sun is a serious health risk. Don’t spend too long in the sun and avoid exposure during the times of day when the sun is at its strongest. Use sunscreen products that are intended for your skin type and needs. Do not expose babies and young children to the sun. Do not use on scratched or irritated skin. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse with clean water. Stop using the product and consult a doctor if skin redness occurs. If swallowed, seek medical attention or contact a Poison Control Centre immediately.
